A Mensageira

A Mensageira is a 12 episode series set during the pandemic. It mixes psychological drama, mystery, trauma, supernatural elements, and a pinch of dark comedy. I joined the project to bring one of its key visual devices to life. An animated computer screen that becomes part of the storytelling.

Challenge

The computer screen needed to feel real and familiar, like something you could see on your own laptop, but also clear enough for the audience to read and follow on TV or streaming. It had to support the mood swings of the series. from tension to humor. and react naturally to the character’s actions without pulling focus away from the performances.

 

My Role

I worked as a Motion Designer responsible for animating the computer screen. I designed and animated the interface, notifications, and on-screen interactions, timing them to the actors’ performances and editing rhythm. The result is a believable screen that helps anchor the story in the pandemic era while subtly reinforcing the psychological and comedic beats of the series.
